For the 28th time, bands from all over Europe and the world come together in the health resort town Bad Schlema, one of four parts of the biggest city in the Erzgebirge as of this year. For three days, everything will revolve around wind music, which has many facets and doesn’t get old.
Every band at the festival brings their own timbre to the marquee, which is known as Blasmusikarena (wind music arena) by now. Live music happens nonstop: even without breaks for setting up. This is only possible with two stages where the entire range of wind music is presented in turns.
Not only does the audience celebrate, but the musicians also enjoy the unique atmosphere, sometimes even with an international polonaise through the marquee.
