Peebles Burgh Silver Band was formed in 1834, and since then has been the official brass band of the town of Peebles, set in the Scottish Borders just 20 miles south of Edinburgh.
As well as taking part at all civic ceremonies in Peebles and the surrounding area, the Band has performed alongside the Sultan of Oman’s Royal Guard of Oman Pipes & Drums and played in England, France and several times at the European Brass Music Festival in Aue-Bad Schlema.
