The new festival finale \u2013 join in the fun!<\/h2>\n\n

For the first time ever, the European Brass Band Festival\u2019s motto is: Everyone joins in!<\/p>\n\n

Before we make music together, we\u2019ll enjoy a proper morning pint with our audience and the participating orchestras. After that, the area in front of the blue stage will become the festival\u2019s largest joint wind orchestra: on Sunday 20 September 2026 at 3.45 pm, almost all the orchestras will be there \u2013 and any musician who brings their own instrument can join in.<\/p>\n\n

Tuba, trombone, trumpet, clarinet, flute, saxophone or any other instrument (see list below): no matter where you\u2019re from or which orchestra you play in \u2013 the only thing that matters here is the sound we make together. Together, we\u2019ll bring Aue-Bad Schlema to life with music and unite many orchestras into a single musical ensemble.<\/p>\n\n

Fancy joining in? In that case, as a musician with your own instrument, you\u2019ll only pay 10 euros admission. Tickets are available exclusively at the box office on the day, as they\u2019ll carry out a quick check there to see if you\u2019ve brought your instrument with you. You can get the sheet music there too. If you need them in advance to practise, just pop us a quick email! (info@blasmusikfest.eu)<\/p>\n\n

It\u2019s new, it\u2019s open, and it\u2019s our festival finale: not just listening to music, but making it together.<\/p>\n\n

  • Please be at the Blue Stage by 3.30 pm at the latest \u2013 you\u2019re welcome to arrive earlier to catch the other orchestras\u2019 concerts live and enjoy the festival Sunday<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • From around 3.40 pm, we will be briefing all the orchestras and participating musicians on site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • We play the pieces exactly as they appear in the respective scores \u2013 that is, with the specified tempos, dynamics, articulations and repetitions, as well as da capo, coda and all other performance instructions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
